Watch Donaire vs Sidorenko

Donaire will fight for the interim World Boxing Association bantamweight crown on December 4 to be held at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calirornia against former WBA champion Wladimiro Sidorenko of Ukraine. The Donaire vs Sidorenko will broadcast live on pay-per-view. Former world flyweight champion Donaire, 24-1 with 16 knockouts, vows he will not be complacent when he faces Sidorenko, 22-2-2 with seven knockouts. A victory by Donaire will set him up for challenging WBC bantamweight. Donaire (24-1-0, 16) earlier said that he wanted to face Montiel, who holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and WBC bantamweight titles. Even though Donaire is a former flyweight and super flyweight world champion and Sidorenko has fought at a championship level at bantamweight, Donaire is actually the larger man. Donaire was emphatic that he would make a statement in the fight, doing what no one has ever done: Stop Sidorenko early.

Sidorenko (22-2-2, 7), on the other hand, will have Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach in his corner. He has very good defense. He's a shell that he need to crack and Donaire need to work out more in enabling how he can break that shell. Sidorenko lost the WBA bantamweight crown to Panamanian southpaw Anselmo Moreno in 2008 and dropped a title rematch in 2009 but bounced back from his only defeats with an August decision over Tanzanian southpaw Mbwana Matumla. Donaire trainer Robert Garcia has been impressed with his fighter's workouts.

My own prediction on this Donaire vs Sidorenko fight, Wladimir Sidorenko will be a good test but the bonus will be on Donaire to win impressively, and honestly a lot of people's expectations could be to be the first to knock the Ukrainian out. I haven't seen much of Donaire lately so I can't judge properly, will I think it will be an easy fight for Donaire. He is just way too quick. He has too fast legs, too fast hands and too much power. Donaire wins every round easilly and stops Sidorenko between rounds 6 and 8.
