Bustamante now ranked as world’s No. 1 in pool

Filipino billiard legend Francisco “Django” Bustamante is now ranked No. 1 in the world of pool according to the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA).

The power-breaker from Tarlac City rose to the top of the world pool ranking after winning this year's WPA World 9-Ball Championship in Doha, Qatar.

Bustamante has garnered a total 1142 points, 170 points ahead over second place Karl Boyes of Great Britan (972 points).
