This episode marks the return of Elena’s biological father John Gilbert~David Anders. Johnathan Gilbert’s return to Mystic Falls comes as an unhappy surprise to Elena, Jenna and Damon . Caroline lets Stefan know about her conversation with Tyler, and Stefan does his best to reach out to a confused and conflicted Tyler. Jeremy comforts Bonnie after her disturbing conversation with Jonas. When Jules takes a hostage, the situation quickly escalates into a violent confrontation. The Vampire Diaries Season 2 Episode 13: Daddy Issues is the 35th episode of the entire series and the 13th of these season. It is directed by Joshua Butler and still casted by the regular stars of the show and also our favorites as well. Some of the guest stars for this episodes are David Anders as John Gilbert, Mia Kirshner as Isobel Saltzman, Dawn Olivieri as Andy Star and Stephen Amell as Brady.
